Today the Colorado Runner Magazine sent their monthly email to their subscribers. I was reading through the various headlines and race results and found the Road Trip Race Results which included results for Colorado Runners who traveled to Seattle for the inaugural Rock n’ Roll race. I read through the results as I always do… incredibly impressed with the speed of these runners.
I did a double take when I hit the women’s half marathon section… I missed the top 5 of women’s half marathon finishers by only 43 seconds… wow. I was initially kinda impressed with myself before I began thinking of all the spots where I could’ve kicked it in just a bit more and made that top 5 …in a word: Bittersweet.
